I had the opportunity to lay an eye on OpenVZ these days. Great to see that lightweight virtualization option (at least compared to vmware) work in action. I decided to play a little with my aged dell desktop. I chose debian etch as the host OS and found myself too struggeling with compiling the correct (aka openvz-patched) kernel. It was a long sundy, until i found this:
