RadialContext in FireFox 3.5

if you (like me) want to continue using radialcontext-mz 1.1 under Firefox 3.5, you could.
just tweak it that way:

* download the xpi
* open it with a zip-program of your choice
* edit install.rdf with the editor of your choice
* change line 28 from em:maxVersion=”3.0.*” to em:maxVersion=”3.5.*”
* put it back in the zip (xpi)
* start Firefox
* drop xpi in
* be happy

or

just download it here

    Leider geht Grafik anzeigen nicht mehr.
    Eine deutsche Version von RC gibt es hier:http://florian.simpleblog.org/21357/

    Oh, thank goodness. I finally got around to upgrading to 3.5 yesterday and was horribly frustrated when I found out that the version on mozilla.org wouldn’t work anymore.

    Good job, stranger.

    ThankYouThankYouThankYou!!

    I’ve been missing this since the original stopped working years ago .. somehow I never found the -mz version!? (kicking myself for that!)

    Thanks!!

  • Your suggestion also makes radialcontext work with Firefox 3.6 on Windows. I will try the package on Linux tonight.

    Does anyone know what happened to the original developer of the add-on?

    Thanks a big fat lot!

    If there is anybody around who knows how to make FF extensions… could you please fix the package so there is a proper FF Radial extension again?
